Anita Public School (APS), Thannipuzha is owned and run by the Sisters of St. Anne, Bangalore under the management and patronage of St. Anne’s Educational & Charitable Society. The society is committed to the cause of education and aims at quality learning of its students. We admit all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or social status. The school was established with an ardent desire to impart quality education based on moral and social values enabling the children to develop into caring and sharing individuals, equipped to make right choice in life and be responsible citizens of the country and the world in its widest perspective. It follows the syllabus of ‘Indian Certificate of Secondary Education’ (ICSE), Delhi with permanent recognition from the Educational Board, Delhi.
Anita Public School, Thannipuzha was started in the year 2001. The increasing demand from the locality made the authorities of the congregation to think positively on initiating a school based on ICSE syllabus at Thannipuzha, besides the existing English Medium School with State Syllabus. The school, from its very inception received immense support from the people of the area and grew in strength and quality in education. The first ICSE batch appeared for the board exam in the year 2010-11. The result was excellent with 100 per cent pass and the same is being continued to the present year.
