Activities

To widen the scope and areas of co-curricular activities a number of Clubs and Associations are formed and a number of programs and activities are being held under the auspices of Clubs. The different Clubs and Associations are – Social Science Club, Science Club, Sports Club, Nature Club, Arts & Sports Club, Maths Club, and Cultural & Literary Association. As part of the activities of these clubs, they organize seminars, talks, experiments, debates, exhibitions, and competitions.

To promote good discipline, team spirit, co-operation self-restraint and healthy competition the children are divided into four different houses, i.e., Charbonnaux House, St. Joachim House, Gandhi House, and Tagore House. Activities and competitions are organized house wise and, the students of different houses are made to compete with one another. Thus, the children receive the necessary backup and encouragement from the respective houses and are able to bring out and sharpen the hidden talents in them. Different teachers are appointed as animators for each house to direct the students. Captains and Vice-Captains are elected from among the House members to lead the group. It is required for every student to be a member of a House.

School conducts a variety of Cultural, Literary, Sports and Games competitions to promote healthy competitions among the Houses for all the students of the school. Students participate in different events the House they belong. The competitions include both individual and group events; and are held under various categories.
